MOVIE TIME: Stuff I Plan To See This Weekend

“Dance Flick” starring the Wayans Clan

You know what? As much as I tried to resist supporting the Wayans Clan and their played-out attachment to the spoof genre, I must say that some of their recent promos have enticed me to see the film. I watched Scary Movie last weekend on MTV and was reminded of how well the Wayans do spoofs. Maybe it was Anna Faris’ comedic genius, or maybe they just put a good spoof together … who knows?

To find out for sure, I will check out Dance Flick this weekend and see for myself if the Wayans Brothers Dynasty can top “Scary Movie”.

I hope all the funniest parts aren’t in the trailer:

    The trailers look funny, but I dunno. I’m not a big Wayan’s Brothers fan, but I’ll check it out and see if I should go see it.

    I don’t know. I’m not a big fan of the Wayans brothers’ movies. They usually start with a very funny concept, but then descend into one big coonfest. I’ll probably end up seeing though. But I have an excuse. I have teenage children that I’ll probably need to accompany to the theater.
