TOP 10 GUILTY Pleasure Movies: #7 – “Blankman” starring Damon Wayans and David Alan Grier

SNL cast members have had SOOOO many movie failures (one of which will ALSO appear on this list), but when In Loving Color team extraordinaire, David Alan Grier and Damon Wayans, teamed together again to produce this STUPIDLY childish, yet hilarious superhero movie … well, it failed too. But it’s funny anyway! My brothers and I constantly quote lines from this movie, i.e. “Minelli! You’re going DOWN …” or “Silly Billy Gumdrops” or “Well, slap me around and call me Susie” or we’ll resort to his high-pitched scream whenever we get rough with one another.
Say what you will about it, but this movie makes me laugh. AND I own it on DVD.

WHAAAAAAAT?!?!? Thanks for bringing this back!!! I used to LOVE this stupid movie! OMG I want to watch it again, bc this is is one of those movies that I haven’t seen since I was nine. Can you do a review of it for Soul Sistar??? This and Meteor Man were (silly) Black super hero classics *sigh.*

Okay, I will admit one guilty pleasure. For whatever reason, I actually watched Pluto Nash twice. So, there you have it.
And I feel much better since I got that off my chest. I have been living in shame for so long.
