RANDOM THOUGHTS: Every Song Has a Line/Word You Don’t Know
27 Oct
A) I was doing some at-home karaoke (it took me five tries to spell that correctly just now) with my friends this weekend and we broke into our own rendition of Toni Braxton’s “Unbreak my Heart” and what’s funny is that we all STOPPED and looked at each other on the parts that NONE of us knew. One, who shall go nameless, attempted to do an open-mouth hum over that part, but the fact is there are two “what the fuck is she saying” moments in that song. THEN, I came to a realization that I think practically EVERY song has a universal, “what the fuck is he/she saying” part that NOBODY knows. I will provide a list of these songs in a separate blog … you just wait.
B) There is absolutely NOTHING sexier than a guy who is completely oblivious to his fineness. Confidence is sexy, arrogance is gross, but for some reason I can’t explain, obliviousness attracts me the most.
C) If I could be any other race in the world, besides Black, I would be Latina. The food, the accent, the dancing, the culture, the family values. EASY.
LOL at point “C.” I won’t comment

In response to point A, you know I am dying right now. The best is when you try to mumble through some words that make everyone think you know the words until someone says “What is she saying right there?” LOL, now you have to admit that you don’t know. LOL
In response to point B. It has to be that modest obliviousness. Because you know I hate the compliment thirsty men who try to make you give them compliments (well, I guess that doesn’t make them lightweight arrogant. LOL)
In response to point C: Welcome to my world. Or should I say Bienvenidos a mi vida. Jajaja
You can be Black AND Latina Isaa.
Ask Zoe Saldana and Maxwell a Black Dominican and Black Puerto Rican. I’m looking forward to the post of songs w/lyrics you can’t fathom.
I think there must be very few good looking people who are unaware of it. Obliviousness is hot and rare.
